It only took me 9ish months of effort to go from 0 to 4000 watch hours .

Don’t be a slave to the monetization and metrics. Just make content you enjoy and hope to find an audience — ‘If you build it, they will come.’
You can always seek sponsorship, which can be more lucrative down the road, without sharing most of the pie with Youtube.

Appreciate the words, but I honestly just set a goal a few months ago to see how I could passively meet the goal after so many people were up and arms about it. It isn’t that bad to get to it, but I do wish I was monetized from the beginning with some of my 10-20k videos.

haha I had just got the Switch and played with the 30 second video feature on a subject I could not find out when I searched, so I made the video and uploaded and people apparently rea lly need to know the information too, so I am at the top of Google search results if you want to know where the “ MewTwo Master Trainer” is.........30k views later.
